Note from the Editor-in-Chief

My fellow researchers in communications, you are most welcome to this maiden edition in communication studies from the School of  Communications, University of Nigeria, Nsukka - the Pioneer School of Communications in Africa, south of the Sahara. In 2004, the School, from the stable of Mass Communication, stormed the communication world with the International Journal of Communication - An Interdisciplinary Journal of Communication, with a widespread focus on every aspect of research in communications and practice at an interdisciplinary level. Today, the Journal is at Number 30. We thank our contributors - both far and near - for making this possible. Now, we have come up with another journal - the Nsukka Journal of Communication Studies - aimed at working with the interdisciplinary Journal of Communication to move research in communications to the topmost level of communication studies agenda. In this maiden edition, the topics continue to make waves in communications studies, merchandising and research best practices. We most warmly welcome you to the refreshingly "appetising" presentations. Bon appétit!
